Growing Instructions:
- Choose where you would like to grow your Wild Flowers
- Rake the surface of the ground to about 1cm depth
- Shake the pack well to mix the wild flower seeds with the spreading compound
- Make sure that you don’t sprinkle the wild flower seeds too close together
- Sprinkle the seeds evenly and then immediately water
- Cover the seeds to avoid them spoiling or being taken by birds and other wildlife
- Continue to water, but only lightly; try not to over water and take into account weather conditions
- Be patient and after 4 to 8 weeks, you will start to see the fruits of your labour
- Remember, the colder it is, the slower the germination process will be
- Please remember to be patient, as the first year might only produce the leaves necessary for the flower to grow.
Brighten Up Shade Garden with These Beautiful Wildflowers
If you have a shaded garden or a spot in your outdoor space that doesn’t get a lot of direct sunlight, it can be challenging to find plants that will thrive there.
However, there are plenty of wildflowers that are well-suited to growing in shade and they can add a splash of color and interest to your garden. To plant wildflowers in a shaded area, start by choosing a spot with well-draining soil and a consistent supply of moisture.
Scatter the seeds on the soil surface and gently press them into the soil, taking care not to cover the seeds with soil. Water the seeds lightly and keep the soil moist until the seeds germinate, which usually takes 7 to 14 days.
Once the seedlings have emerged, thin the seedlings to a distance of about 15 cm (6 inches) apart to allow for proper growth. Water the seedlings regularly, but do not overwater, as many wildflowers are susceptible to root rot.
With a little bit of planning and care, you can easily grow a beautiful and colorful display of wildflowers in your shaded garden. Give it a try and enjoy the beauty and diversity of these charming plants all season long.
